The walking tradie..
It all begins with an idea….
Thanks for stopping by.
I’m Luke “the walking tradie” and this is a quick read about me.
I’ve stepped aside from plumbing management to pursue other avenues of employment that excite, challenge and provide an outlet for creativity and design.
Why the change?
Awaiting a formal diagnosis after a traumatic brain injury at the start of 2020. Seizures since the injury meaning epilepsy could be a possibility, unable to drive on medical grounds. Throw that in with the doctor’s orders to minimise stress in my life. It was time to simplify my life.
It started with commencing a Certificate 3 in Floristry, which evolved into studying garden design and horticulture whilst being able to return to my plumbing roots. My love of working with my hands and building things whilst in the garden has allowed me to take on completion of me trade certificate in Landscape Construction.
So here I am….with a fully equipped push cart of tools, 20 yrs of plumbing knowledge and experience, many years tinkering in the shed, backyard and garden and a desire to bring customer service back to the trades.
Walking and working within a 5K radius from my home in Redfern and workshop in Alexandria. Flyers are hand delivered by me and my main stream of incoming work is from repeat customers, word of mouth referrals and people I have crossed paths with in our local streets.
Working to the K.I.S.S principle in both my life and my work, I strive for customer satisfaction - great customer experience, works completed to a high professional standard, all at a fair price.
